3 Online tests and their results, what do they say

On completion of the 16 personalities test which closely mimics the Myers Brigs test, my result was that my personality was a “Defender (ISFJ, -A/-T” which from a brief description states that although sensitive, defenders have excellent analytical abilities, remain reserved, have well developed people skills and robust social relationships. Defenders are also receptive to change and new ideas, true altruists who are kind and work well in teams.

A visual learner is a learner who utilises graphs, charts, maps and diagrams, being one of the three basic learning styles. This also means a preference would be towards images, pictures, colours and maps to organise information and communicate with others.

Following up on the previous result, the dominant one is visual when compared to the other main ones, with auditory making up a significant percentage. Auditory would be videos, audio and or being taught.

The results of the Myers-Briggs test indicate that my personality is unique and very easily defined by specific traits. The defender type will be very analytical in the situations they’re placed in, constantly stopping and monitoring the situation which I happen to see myself doing a lot. Work well in teams which I hope I do, considering past experiences in high school, despite tough times a good mark has often been the result even if extra work had to be completed to compensate driven by a sheer determination to do well which defenders are known to do as perfectionism is the goal even though procrastination attempts to take over. Having this personality can play a vital role in a team as someone who can be relied on to not only get the job done but work with the fellow members to reach perfection with kindness and sheer determination in a quiet and humble manner with respect to those around them. Whilst forming a team, many of the traits that define a good team player are already defining traits of a defender so it would be a safe choice to choose someone of this trait if they can truly fulfil their descriptive traits, a full team of defenders would be very efficient but there is no denying a mixed group with at least one defender would be efficient also.
